Erin Go Bragh ……or Just for a Day

By March 3, 2016No Comments

Most people are a little bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. There are so many ways to celebrate. Wearing the color green and pinching those unfortunate enough not to, is one way. Getting rowdy by the consumption of green beer while watching a parade of kilt wearing bagpipers is another. But if you don’t want to get sent to your Human Resources Department and you are not going to a big public event, you can celebrate with us. Join us at Lehman’s Deli on March 17th and feast on traditional Irish dishes.

If you are lucky enough to be Irish, you are lucky enough. If you’re not Irish,  you can still be lucky enough to dig into our Guinness Beer Beef Stew. Bottom round simmered in a rich stout gravy with hearty chucks of vegetables.Corned Beef Brisket

What would St. Patrick’s Day be with out Corned Beef? At Lehman’s, we pride ourselves on preparing and serving the best. Our ever-popular Reubens and Hot Corned Beef Sandwiches, served on thick-cut Jewish Rye, will be plentiful.

But the Pot-of Gold at the end of this rainbow is our famous Corned Beef Dinners. The perfect pairing of salt- cured Corned Beef Brisket, tender cabbage, potatoes, carrots and homemade Irish Soda Bread.Irish Soda Bread 2W

To satisfy your sweet tooth, we will baking up a storm with Irish cream. Bailey’s frosted brownies and Bailey’s Irish cream pound cake can be use as bribery in case you caught “pinching”.

We leave you with an Irish Blessing that is dear to us:

May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks

May your heart be as light as a song

May each day bring you bright happy hours that stay with you all the year long
